Progressing from a graffiti artist to an MC, hip-hop has shaped Prophet's life. Having sharpened his skills in the ever-original Bay Area rap scene, Prophet hit the streets with his debut album Block Venom. Released on Nucuma Records and featuring production from CI Cutz, this underground gem moved over 2K units independently. Following this release, Prophet was featured on numerous mixtapes, including hosting DJ Amen's (106 KMEL) Hood Apostles, Disciples and Prophets.
In 2005, Prophet began work on his 2nd album after a chance meeting with producer Brian "Deep H2OZ" Watters (Mac Dre, Too Short, The Team, Mac Mall, Turf Talk, etc.). Listen To My Demo was released in early 2006 and has done extremely well with songs featuring Clyde Carson of The Team, Grown Mo and Java.
Co-founding Trojan Horse with Teruo Artistry, Deep H2OZ, Grown Mo and Six Reasons, Prophet has begun work on his 3rd album to be released in 2008. Be on the lookout for some serious features as well.
In addition to his music, Prophet has also ventured in to acting with a starring role in the short film Yigger.
