Pro records is the brainchild of CEO, David Sankar a.k.a "Pro" with the help of the business team conducted by Managing Director Nigel Lucas and Director Derrick Tom, Pro records is dedicated to the search and nurturing of exceptional talent in the music industry. We provide all the necessary amenities for our Artists on a 24-hour basis so that they can focus only on music and the business. They literally eat, sleep and work in a musically inclined environment that develops and prepares them for the entertainment industry.
Everything from songwriting, music production and recordings are all done in house at Pro Records. Pro records studios was created about two years ago after Calypsonian Cro Cro convinced Mr. Sankar to get involved in the music recording business. After acquiring the necessary equipment for a professional sound and eventually establishing the recording studio (The Pro records studio is part of the Pro Sports Bar establishment.) young artists like Bigg Lexx, Simplex, CC White, Don Kartel and Flippo (PR Island Crew) began frequently spending time in the studio. Eventually Mr.Sankar realized that these youth had great potential to succeed in the music industry. David eventually began to pay more attention to the studio, the artists and their development. Comfortable living quarters, 24-hour studio availability and other amenities were provided to the artists so they could focus and create music, good music. In spring of 2007, after compiling material for the label's first CD project, Pro records decided that it was time to begin the marketing and Ad campaign for Pro records and its recording artists.
Pro records released two radio singles "30 Mill" and "Liquor in my hand" which received great reviews and the demand for a video, which is now available to view at www.prorecordstt.com. A new wind is blowing; the storm is coming...
