Prose from Dover is the husband and wife duo of Dave McCann and Barley Van Clief. They have a repertoire of 170+ songs ranging from the sixties to comtemporary. They also do a program entitled "Let's Fall in Love" a tribute to the genius of Cole Porter. They have performed publicly at Abzoolutely Chestnut Hill; Buckeye Tavern, Emmaus; Burlap & Bean, Newtown Square; Celebrate Mama, King of Prussia; Coffee Club, Media; Diamond Spa, Chestnut Hill; Folk Factory, Mt. Airy; Hideaway Records, Chestnut Hill; In the Details, West Chester; Inn at Reading, Wyomissing; Joyful Noise, Royersford;Kreutz Creek Vineyards Tasting Rooms, Media, West Chester; Maldoons, Sanatoga; Mayfair, Allentown; Milltown Market, Downingtown; Normandy Farms Estates, Blue Bell; Sherlocks, Chestnut Hill; Sprazzo, West Chester; SweetBytes, Ambler; Unitarian Fellowship, West Chester; Walk A Crooked Mile Books, Mt. They do originals as well as covers and songs they call "uncovers" meaning songs by local songwriters that deserve a wider audience. They are available for any type of event, indoors or out and are well equipped to handle virtually any type of venue. They also perform children's music under the name "Have Fun, Will Travel".
