About me:
Myspace Layouts S'iyo all my relations! My name is Tamra, I am mixed blood Cherokee/German/Irish and the Director & Founder of The Protect Sacred Sites "Indigenous People, One Nation."

Our organization's goal is to help educate people across the Nation regarding the continual desecration and need for protection of our sacred sites.

We are a grass roots organization and work in-conjunction with Tribal Councils, Tribal Preservation Officers, Attorney's, other Organizations and Conservation Groups.

We have committee members across the Nation and are growing each day. Our organization is very pro-active and endorses peaceful gatherings for the protection of sacred sites.

If you have a issue you need assistance with, please contact us. Your request will be directed to our closest committee member in your area. We will do our best to assist you!

Protect Sacred Sites Indigenous People, One Nation is a grass roots organization, working towards the protection of sacred sites across the country. Our organization has been actively involved with the ongoing struggle to Protect Bear Butte for several years. We are continuing these efforts, our organization is currently leading the campaign regarding the new developments and further expansions at Bear Butte.PROTECT BEAR BUTTE!

Our sacred lands are all that remain keeping us connected to our place on Mother Earth, to our spirituality, our heritage and our lands; what’s left of them. If they take it all away, what will remain except a vague memory of a past so forgotten?" Photobucket
Who I'd like to meet:
We would like to invite you to visit our "Protect Sacred Sites as Indigenous People, One Nation" website at www.ProtectSacredSites.org. The website has recently been completely re-designed, it has many new resources and lots of new info! After you have browsed thru our website, reviewed what our goals are, we would like to encourage you to consider getting involved with our Sacred Sites Committee. Currently, we are seeking individuals to assist us with our efforts towards creating awareness, education, contacting Government Officials, working with Tribal Preservation Officers, Tribal Leaders, Preservation Organizations and private individuals. Our long term goal is to build a network of committee members within every state. Our organization is a grass roots volunteer based group. Committee members volunteer what time, services, knowledge and expertise that they may have, and are able. We realize that not everyone has the amount of time available that others may have, all we require is active involvement and participation with the work on our committee. Involvement is the key factor in success, creating progress and generating solutions to this challenging issue in the battle of protecting sacred sites.

Our organization is currently working on several very important issues and is growing very rapidly in a positive direction. We are all very excited about the progress we have made and hoping to share our success stories with you soon!

The goal of our organization is to help make a difference in the protection of sacred sites and we are seeking people that are interested in doing the same!

If you are interested in discussing becoming a Committee Member, please contact me at Tamra@ProtectSacredSites.org!

We appreciate your support and look forward to working with you all in the future!

Sincerely, Tamra Brennan Director/Founder "Protect Sacred Sites as Indigenous People, One Nation" www.ProtectSacredSites.org

Hi Tamra! Thank you for supporting Leonard Peltier and
for your friendship!

"Sharing my art makes my heart feel good. It's a way, too, of letting people know that I have not been conquered by the oppressor even though I have spent so many years in these iron lodges. It's a way to say thank you for all the people's support. It's a way of letting them know that their prayers are strong.
" - Leonard Peltier

Leonard donates his paintings to his defense committee to help support efforts to win his freedom. Leonard's paintings are collected by celebrities and luminaries worldwide including Oliver Stone, Peter Coyote, Jane Fonda, Val Kilmer, and Michael Apted.
Peltier paintings also have been given as gifts and donated to help other organizations raise funds.

Leonard Peltier donates his paintings to the LP-DOC to help raise funds for his defense. The paintings are available for purchase. To inquire about the purchase

If everyone prayed everyday...
Could We Make a Bigger Difference?

If our voice was a little louder would the good lord hear us better?

I think its worth a try. It only takes a moment to say a short prayer for those who are dear to us as well as for those who are in need; for those who fight honorably for our country, for those who have passed away, for those who are strangers as well as those we keep close to our hearts, for those who are sick, and even for those who are well, in hopes that they may remain happy and healthy in times to come.

Have a wonderful weekend.
