About me: I'm a Dj, sound designer with eclectic tastes. I'm resident Dj at the Costes Avenue restaurant, running the Proto- Rytmo party at various places in Paris and the Mithra Project which is a sci-fi mix concept composed mainly with records from the japanese underground. I'm attracted with the sound since my tender age, and passed through many kind of music, discovered the techno and house music in 1993. I've travelled in India when I was 12 years old, Pakistan when 14 years old, moved to shanghai for 1 year for studying Qi Gong, then 1 month in Japan, also 1 month in New York. All these trips influenced my musical tastes aswell. Finally, I've got a bit of a revelation in Hong Kong in 1998 where a local DJ was spinning records in a crossover way: from jazz to latin, then house to funk,... the club called Park 97 was classy and with graceful ladies. An another thing who stimulate me was a magical (for me) scene in Yukinari Hanawa's "Tokyo Skin" movie; men and fatals women were dancing in an intimate and dark club above a killer&hypnotic rare groove track. I like to play with the moods and to create an atmosfear. You can approach everything with a different viewpoint and it's the same with a record, all depend of the moment you will play it, the people, between which records you'll fit it, you can play under a groovy or an emotional feeling, peak time dancefloor or much more intimate,... all these points and I forget many makes that djiing is a very interesting and deep affair.
