Proto-J was born and raised in Sacramento, California.. Singing ever since he was a little kid. Listening and inspired by his favorite artist's: Bryan McNight, Boyz 2 men, Craig David, N'Sync- Justin Timberlake, ect. Never took music seriously untill High School year. Having nothing to do after coming home from school, he taught himself how to play the piano and the guitar. As his High school year past by, he met TENG ( Forthe Dimension ), a talented underground hmong producer/singer. They both began helping each other out on both their albums. Proto-J released his first album "THIS IS HOW IT GOES" on Dec. 2006. Promoting and performing every where he can get to, throughout California. Two years later, he released his 2nd. album "THE SECOND TIME AROUND". His journey still goes on.. Be sure to check out the 2nd Album...
.......Still more to come.......
Thanks.. god bless
