Prototype Resident DJs
DJ seraphim :: Evoking an eccentric blend of beats ranging from the sassiest electro ciche, the terrorist terrorcore of hell-ectro, the elegance of synthpop, the trancy audio bliss of futurepop and the hard beats of ebm dance industrial is DJ SERAPHIM. He is also known to get glitchy and grind the noise. Such blends fuel effortlessly; the packed dance floor during his sets. He has been recently transplanted from Los Angeles where he has accumulated a seasoned history as resident and guest DJ to well known and loved clubs such as Synthcon, Absynthe, Maschine, Nightmare before Bats Day, Defkon, Wumpskate (LA's only Gothic/Industrial Roller-skating event), CODE, 01001 (if it was electronic, he played it) and Re:mix. DJ SERAPHIM has also been opening DJ act to such artists as Conjure One, Voltaire, HMB, Ayria, Terrorfakt, Tonikom, Cervello Electronico, Psyclon9, God Module, System Syn, Informatik, De/Vision as well as many others including a West Coast Tour with Cylab.
djLVX :: Music is like sex. It's intimate. We're wired for it. We crave it. We need it. Its beats driving, primal, innate. It’s pulsing rhythms hypnotic, seducing and when executed with proper sensitivity; one cannot help but to be moved and to move. Besides themselves. Internally. Externally. The undeniable exchange. The dance. Possesed by the muse in her relationship to music for as long as she can remember, djLVX now spins her web through threads of songs for you. Primal Industrial. Electro Ciche. Alternative Pop. Rhythmic Noize.
DJ Machwave :: Mixing styles like an audio alchemist, DJ Machwave, stirs in a little bit of everything into his sets with surprising continuity; from the latest Electro to Europop to Industrial, it’s all in there blended with acute accuracy. Getting his start in New England, he spent two years on college radio before moving over to the Club side, where he spun at Haven in Northampton MA, and Plague in Portland ME before relocating to Seattle and finding a home at clubs such as Prototype and Motion. DJ Machwave also makes his home away from home once a month at Dementia at Bossanova Ballroom in Portland OR. On top of doing clubs he’s been a featured DJ at several special events such as Convergence 13 and Pirates for Puppies II charity and after parties including VNV Nation, Assemblage 23, Skinny Puppy, The Cruxshadows, The Last Dance, Babyland, Ayria, Ego Likeness, Son of Rust, James D Stark, Tau Factor and Idiot Stare.
