| General | My interests include reading, singing, gardening, fishing although I have not been actively doing any of the outdoor activities lately. I do enjoy home decorating and sewing. Lately I have been spending time helping my husband with the Hinesville Hurricanes...a semi-pro football team. I also volunteer at my church doing computer work. I really enjoy working on the computer. | | Music | I enjoy Christian music of substance. I like for the song to tell a story and the lyrics to be clear. I also like Barry White seventies music because so much of it can be changed to worship music. For example, Of all the guys in the world has a line that says any man would love to love you...from beggars to kings. That is so true of our Lord and Savior because it does not matter how poor or how rich...His Love extends to all or "you turned my whole world around" has a line that says-you changed me, rearranged me, bought new meaning to my life, no more madness or sadness, no more lonely nights. That is just how my life changed when Jesus came in. My husband couldn't do it, my children couldn't do only Jesus. | | Movies | Is there any movie other than "It's a Wonderful Life"? | | Television | Disney Channel with my Grandson, Brandon and TV Land. | | Books | The latest books that I read "Hinds Feet in High Places" and "Mountain of Spices" are two of my favorites after the Holy Bible. | | Heroes | Jesus is the only hero for me. He gave up everything so I could have something. He left his throne in Glory to dwell in the flesh so I could be forgiven for all of my sin. My God. What manner of man is this. He laid in a grave three days and got up with all power in His hand. He gave sight to the blind, raised the dead, healed the sick.......that represents overcoming all obstacles. People who demonstrate that in life are my heroes. |

About me:
I am alive and well today because of the grace of my loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That serves to define who I am because I know without Him I am nothing and can do nothing; but with Him I can do all things. The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful husband James, of 32 years and four sweet children - Margrette, Melissa, Jamie, and Jason and my heart of hearts-my grandson, Brandon. Thank you Lord! I am happy with life and some of the most precious times of my life are when all my children come home and I get to prepare their favorite foods and watch them eat it. I love the Lord with all my heart, soul, and strength not only because He saved my soul by His death on the cross and resurrection but because he loved me when I was not even thinking about Him. My God, what manner of love is this! I do get frustrated when people choose to reject His love but am reminded that the Lord is longsuffering and it reminds me of how He waited for me to receive His precious gift of life eternal. That is my desire...that all should come into repentance and none should perish but all should have everlasting life.
