Cold concrete presses against my feet, I cannot see the sky.

So quiet I hear my own heartbeat, dungeon’s blackness trains my eyes.

Laying on a bed of steel, wrapped up sheets beneath my head.

No contact from the outside makes me wonder if I’m dead?
Or is this just some hellish dream, will I wake up from this place?
My neighbor took his life today, guess that’s his way to escape.

Now everything is silent no one dares to make a sound.

Like everyone reflecting on the path that they went down.

Could this be my fate to be? Will I die in this place?
I can’t care for fear of caring as familiar strangers pace
Cuz in this place a man can’t see, for the simple fear of seeing
Where men are held back from their dreams, here what’s the use of dreaming?
Inside they cry, but tears won’t fall, in here there is no crying.

And in this place a man can’t live because his fear of dying.
