BIOGRAPHY:
Formed in January of 2004, Providence, local to the Tampa Bay area of Florida, has come a long way. Having just celebrated their 5 year mark as being a band, Providence has a lot to show for it. Providence has taken their love for music and turned it into a fulltime ministry. Traveling to over 18 different states, opening for some of the largest headlining Christian acts as well as mainstream acts, and having played close to 600 shows, they’ve had the chance to share their hearts for God through their music. Known for their catchy tunes, (that are sure to get stuck in your head) and high energy concerts, Providence is a band that is quickly on the rise. Playing for events that range from typical youth nights to opening at state wide events such as Next Big Thing (local to Tampa, Florida) these guys will take any chance they can get to show what being a Christian band is all about.
More importantly than just labeling themselves a Christian band, Providence is a ministry that is focused on the youth of today and living a life that demonstrates the heart of a Christian. Traveling to hundreds of youth groups, youth conferences, and many other Christian based events, Providence speaks boldly of the lives they live, and gives full credit to God for their blessings. Aside from performing their own material Providence is also known to have led many praise and worship events, and enjoys the chance to be able to connect with people in atmosphere that is different then a normal rock concert. Striving to make personal connections and grow relationships with those whom they meet, it’s not uncommon to find them inside the crowds having a good time with their fans.
For more information on acts in which we’ve opened for please look under the “Influences” section where you will find a “Shared the Stage with” list. For more information, or to book the band please contact one of our representatives listed below.
