FESTIVAL INFO:
Provincetown Rocks: The Festival! (PR:TF!) is coming to town (Provincetown, that is) July 22 through July 26. The summer’s largest new music event, PR:TF! will feature the best of Boston’s buzz-bands, highlighted by local legends, The Neighborhoods, and perennial favorites, The Upper Crust, Freezepop, and Taxpayer.
Presented by Underground Control and Maker’s Mark, the Fest will feature New England sensations, The Bon Savants, Cassavetes, The Luxury, The Dogmatics, The Lights Out, Squidda, Gene Dante & The Future Starlets, and many, many more of the best local acts. In addition, there will be a DJ segment featuring Michael Savant, DJ Melee, Frank White, and Knowlton Walsh, among others.
Long known as one of the country's most unique and diverse oceanside communities, Provincetown provides the ideal setting for what promises to be the "ProvinceStock" of its time. Like someone put the greatest buzz-bands into a suitcase and shipped them all to Provincetown for five unforgettable days, PR:TF! is the place to be for local and pop culture aficionados who want to see and hear new music now.
