PWO Championship: Johnny Gargano vs. Mike Tolar
Once Johnny Gargano became PWO Heavyweight Champion at PWO Wrestlelution 2: A Coming of Age, one man emerged and stood out above all others as the top contender to Gargano’s newfound throne. Mike Tolar, the self-proclaimed “Greatest Thing Going Today” defeated the first-ever PWO Champion “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross to earn the opportunity to challenge Gargano, and based on the verbal war between both of these athletes over the past two weeks, both are taking this match as seriously as any they’ve had before this. Tolar truly believes with his credentials as an All-American amateur wrestler, he is the best natural athlete in PWO today. A win here can prove it, but with the unbelievable momentum Gargano created for himself from rebelling against former mentor Josh Prohibition, and ultimately retiring him, can anything stop Johnny Gargano? Arguably PWO’s two absolute best will meet for Pro Wrestling Ohio’s biggest prize.
Jason Bane & Hobo Joe vs. Eric Ryan & Corey Winters
PWO’s Most Dominant Man and PWO’s Dirtiest Man formed an unlikely bond when they joined forces to avenge the many wrongdoings of Aaron Maguire and survive a deadly “hit” put on them at Wrestlelution 2. Now, Hobo has signed for the two to team once again, and meet PWO’s most promising young duo, Eric Ryan & Corey Winters, who are looking to rebuild after a less than stellar Wrestlelution. Can the conflicting personalities of Bane & Hobo co-exist, and what will Aaron Maguire, scheduled to once again serve as color commentator say regarding his former rivals and former roommate?
Gregory Iron vs. Bobby Beverly w/Sex Appeal
At Wrestlelution 2, an unfortunate mistiming by Bobby Beverly led to the superficial superstar’s alleged flawless looks being damaged forever, as two teeth were knocked from Beverly’s mouth in the action. Rather than accept that wrestling is a full-contact sport, Beverly considered this a personal insult and attack, blaming the man he was in the ring with at the time, PWO’s “Handicapped Hero” Gregory Iron. Iron has correctly insisted that none of it was his fault, but with Beverly threatening a fate to Iron even worse than the one that befell himself, Gregory Iron is, much like throughout his entire life, ready to face the adversity head-on and fight with everything he’s got. Beverly’s treating of a couple of missing teeth like the end of his professional career, while at the same time opposing a man who’s overcome cerebral palsy, is quite simply audacious. Will Beverly’s rage lead to him extracting very physical revenge, or can Gregory Iron overcome the anger and emerge victorious?
Plus: “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross will be in attandance, comments from Portia Perez, “Amazing” N8 Mattson & “Big Bear” Benjamin Boone, and more!
