In an effort to write an epic biography it has become evident that biographies are total bull and that's why problems can arise while constructing one. When doing something you believe in it's hard to take the easy way out and sugarcoat something that you already think is sweet. Truth be told, biographies contain almost exclusive common traits: The brief histories of the members and band itself. Anything that looks good in parentheses. Clever metaphors that seem to exponentially get more ridiculous. Here are some examples....
We sound like country music with hip hop beats.
Proximo sound like the FooFighters and the Get Up Kids had a baby named Dr. Gigglefitz and the Alkalne Trio.
When they were in their early twenties Proximo's members recorded a demo with their old band. It was recorded by the bass player of a random band that was moderately popular. Proximo has played shows with every band in the world in some form or another through association or speculation. And with all of this you can form a name dropping parantheses network that would make Kevin Bacon jealous.
If you can't tell already we here at PXO INC. are passionate about our cynicism. All humor aside, our biography is our music and our bond is the riot we have every time we hang. We are proof that keeping smiles on in the darkest of hours can save lives and does save ours. For better or for worse, music inspires. It can lead to where everyone seems to expect, or it can lead to a day dream that never ends. We believe that with great expectations can come great things. The bottom line is that it doesn't matter what our story is or what it may become. It matters if you want to be a part of it.
We are Proximo and we approve this message and we hope that everyone else does.
