About me:

Proyecto Descarga (Project Descarga) is the sister company of Internationally acclaimed dance company Descarga Caribe of Chicago, USA. Like Descarga Caribe, Proyecto Descarga was founded by Sekou McMiller who also serves as the artistic director. Based out of New York City, the mission of this project is to explore the Genre of Salsa/Mambo and test its bourdaries and perceived limitations. While sharing with the world our love and respect for the dance and music as an art form as well as self-expression.
