Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle
will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared. - Buddha.
When we don't see things as they are, we see them as WE are.
If you want to know your past - look into your present conditions. If you want
to know your future - look into your present actions.
As a technique to identify the basic nature of the mind, first stop remembering what happened in the past, then stop thinking of what might happen in the future; let the mind flow of its own accord without the overlay of thought. Let the mind rest in its natural state. Observe. One can practice this while lying in bed in the morning, your mind awake but your senses not fully engaged. The conceptual mind that runs on thinking of good things, bad things, and so forth will get a rest. A little non-conceptuality can provide a much needed vacation.
Happiness refers to a deep sense of fulfillment, accompanied by a sense of peace and a host of other positive qualities.
Pleasure exhausts itself in the enjoying, just like a candle that burns down and disappears.

| Here are some older songs from bands I was in. These are
all demo recordings and some are better quality than others. I thought
these would be fun to post so here they are, as they were. |

THE SIDE ROOM 2002
- 2005
"Trip-Pop" as it was known. A collaboration between Mato Gucu
(ex-12 Volt Sex singer)
on vocals and myself on music and production. The Side Room mixed jazz,
bossa nova, trip-hop drums and sounds with melodic vocals and memorable
hooks. The band was active in the Las Vegas music scene in 2003 - 2005
and played a number of sold out shows at Las Vegas' exclusive House of
Blues "Foundation Room". These songs are still available for
licensing.

AUTOMATIC TAXI STAR 1998
- 2001
Pop Rock featuring myself on guitar, Tiffany Fredianelli - vocals, Johnny
Fedevich - Drums, Tony Santoro - Bass. Dave St. John played bass, sang
backups and produced the rough demos. Interesting note: Johnny played Ed
Vallencourt in the 2000 rock film Almost
Famous. Tiffany's brother is Tony Fredianelli, the guitar player from Third
Eye Blind. A number of these tunes were featured on MTV produced shows.
These songs are still available for licensing.
