Sounds Like
We have an original sound, with a Chicago swinging groove and a swampy crawl all in one. Just and all around great sound!
Pryor Baird & The Deacons are a solid power trio whose music is powerful and real. This guitar driven band is led by Pryor Baird, who is accompanied by the “The Deacons” who happen to be the best band around. And of course, the rhythm section. That fat hallowed sound comes from the man on the four string Fender bass, Robert "Dirtie Bertie" Chetwood. And the man on the drums is our very own Louie Broussard this guy wails!!
These guys aren’t just playing The Blues, they're PLAYIN' THE BLUES!!!!!!
This is an art form that is on the brink of extinction, and they are keeping it alive by putting their blood, sweat, tears, heart, and soul into this music for their pleasure and for your enjoyment.
They have shared the stage with Walter Trout, Joe Bonamassa, Tommy Castro, Paul Thorn, Stacy Brooks, Cole Fonseca, Alistair Greene, Ron Thompson.
So do yourself a favor and take a friend out and listen. You will not be disappointed.
