.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ........ :::::::English::::::: The Band Psicosuono was born in Milan (ITALY) in 2004, when Stefano De Marchi (guitar) and Elisabetta Giglioli (vocalist and keyboards) decided to start a brand-new rock progressive project up; their idea was to contaminate rock progressive with funky/blues/jazz/classic influences, using an original Italian poetic language to create the lyrics. The other band members – Antonello Colamonaco (bass) and Emanuele Luisi (drums) – joined the Psicosuono project in a second time, but their particular musical experience immediately shaped the Psicosuono sound. PSICOSUONO (you may translate it as “sound of the psyche”) is a neologism to express the aim of the band: let the listener’s mind explore its light and dark sides, through poetry and emotions. The band participate in various Italian music competitions and lives – as they believe that the live activity is as important as the studio one (if not more). The Psicosuono style would remind in a personal way the ideas of great rock musicians as Pink Floyd, Genesis, PFM, Toto, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix… The first album of Psicosuono, “AUT AUT” (2008) is available on-line and in music-stores. “AUT AUT” is on air in Italy, Venezuela, Greece, Brazil and U.S.A.. The first video-clip of Psicosuono, called “Iride” (2009), is on YouTube and it has been streamed on Sky TV too. It has recently been selected as finalist in the video-clip competition for italian indie projects “PIVI 2009”. Find us here: .. ..Psicosuono on Facebook .. ______________________________________________________________ :::::::Italiano::::::: Gli Psicosuono nascono nel 2004 a Paderno Dugnano (MI) su iniziativa di Stefano De Marchi e di Elisabetta Giglioli. Con la collaborazione di Emanuele Luisi e di Antonello Colamonaco prende vita un progetto rock originale aperto a contaminazioni jazz, blues, funky e classiche, dichiaratamente ispirato all’atmosfera progressive internazionale degli anni ‘70. Il nome “Psicosuono” é evidentemente un neologismo coniato per indicare la volontà della formazione di esplorare – attraverso un suono originale ed evocativo – gli spazi misteriosi e reconditi della psiche e dell’animo umano. La ricerca artistico-psicologica degli Psicosuono si riflette anche nei testi delle loro canzoni, poesie in lingua italiana aperte alla più libera interpretazione di chiunque le desideri leggere o ascoltare. Il gruppo si esibisce in vari club italiani, partecipando anche a numerosi concorsi per gruppi emergenti e festival a livello sia locale che nazionale. Tra le diverse esperienze della band si ricordano la partecipazione al MEET 2007 (la Fiera degli strumenti musicali di Milano), all'evento-vetrina Music Village 2007 di Montecampione (BS), al Disorder Art Music Festival di Modena 2008 (assieme a Remo Remotti e a Danilo Fatur ex-CCCP) e -recentemente- ad alcune trasmissioni televisive tra cui “Music Box”, “3Space” e "No Playback Zone" (PLAY TV, Canale 869 di SKY). E' in vendita on-line sui maggiori stores digitali mondiali (iTunes, Amazon, Visgin, Napster…) il primo album degli Psicosuono - "AUT AUT" (2008) - prodotto dall'etichetta indipendente "Ambrosiana" e con Livio Magnini (Bluvertigo, Giorgia, Rezophonic, Jetlag) in veste di Produttore Artistico; l'album è in rotazione radiofonica sia in Italia che all'estero- Venezuela, Illinois, Grecia. "AUT AUT" è disponibile nei negozi della catena di distribuzione "Venus" (FNAC, Feltrinelli, Ricordi... Gli Psicosuono hanno ultimamente girato il loro primo videoclip, “Iride” – diretto dal regista Jacopo Rondinelli e con la partecipazione degli attori Alessandro Sampaoli (”Camera Cafè”, “Solo un padre”, “Doppio”), Giorgia Cardaci (”Camera Cafè”, “Raccontami - Capitolo II”, “Pianosequenza”, “Il capo dei capi”) e di Clara Dossena (”Una madre”, “La sconosciuta”). Il video è attualmente disponibile sul canale YouTube di Pirames International, l'etichetta digitale che si occupa della vendita on-line dei brani della band. Da Giugno 2010 è entrata a far parte della band Betty Accorsi (Sax soprano e tenore).
