Movies
The Matrix, X-Men, Star Wars I-VI, The Terminator Movies, Austin Powers, Aliens, The Craft, Darkness Falls, and Spiderman to name a few. Recently, I've seen Superman Returns and The Covenant, both good. Some non-Sci-Fi movies I like are The Joy Luck Club, There's Something About Mary, BrokeBack Mountain, American Pie, and Porky's.
Television
Lots of Sci-Fi: Farscape, Babylon 5, ST:TNG, ST:DS9, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Charmed, BattleStar Galactica, Dark Angel, The 4400, X-Files, StarGate: Atlantis and both Dune mini-series. I also like Friends, Desperate Housewives, CSI, Law & Order: SVU, NYPD Blue, The Dukes of Hazard, to name a few. Not alot of time to watch TV anymore, so most of the shows listed have completed their run in some manner. But lately, I have had time see Nip/Tuck.
Books
The Dune Chronicles, by far, written by Frank Herbert. I also like some Robert Heinlein, as well.
The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz. A friend from LA recommended the book and I do try to follow it. It has a great philosophy and some great advice.
Heroes
Anyone who can remain a decent and positive person despite the shit the world and the community throws at them. Civility is becoming harder and harder for me to maintain lately. I hope I can find some friends that can help me maintian some sense of decency outside my doorsteps. LOL I really respect someone who can look at both sides of an issue.
As far as the Omaha area the only possible opportunities are local independent films, local commercials and the occasional bigger budget Hollywood films that are filmed, but my dream would be to appear as a regular on a TV drama or comedy. :)

Not much to say at the moment. How about some All-American Rejects while I think about it? ;)
I grew up in Northeast South Dakota, After graduating in 1993, I got the hell out of there, joined the USAF and spent sometime in Texas, California, Colorado, Nebraska, Italy and Saudi Arabia. After getting the hell out of that, I stayed in Omaha, Nebraska, where most of my USAF years were spent. Some of you might recognize me as a waiter or bartender from the Max, but I work at Flixx now.
Most people I know online, know me as PsiProne, its my alias for all my Sci-Fi Stuff. I've been online since 1999, and I miss my friends I had at a website called thescifivine.com, long since dead, but always remembered. I don't think I'll ever have friends on the internet, like I did back then. I even met some of those friends at a Toronto Trek convention back in July 2001. It was a great time. I had a GoldenWeb Award winning Sci-Fi search engine called PsiProne's Portal with over 1500 websites, a Google PageRank of 7, and number 1 in its category for almost 2 years, but its not working anymore, and I'm actually very heart-broken over it. I was proud of that DAMN thing!!! I was part of my dream of owning a piece of the web. I never made a living off of it though, it was a free service. The website was dedicted to Science Fiction TV and Film mostly, with some Fantasy and Horror listings as well. I do plan to resurrect the site, its only a matter of time. It will be new, improved and maybe even a household name, for sci-fi fans anyway! I also had a forum for the site called The Sci-Fi Alliance, its still up and running, just not very busy.
Anyway, here's another site that is working, its another search engine, but this one is for the Omaha-Lincoln area. It still needs work, I need to fix the html on most pages and it only has a measely 70 sites listed, but that WILL change! So be sure to visit it and Submit your website! LOL
SurfOmaha I look back on things I've done and see I've done quite a bit, I've also been part of a variety of communities; rural, family, school, asian, white, military, modeling, club, internet, sci-fi, urban, search engine and even glbta. No matter how bad things ever got there was always good to remember, too. Its all part of the stuff that make me, all part of what I bring with me as I move forward in my life.

I am abrasive, some people really hate me, but there may be a group of other tight knit assholes and bitches that I can hang out with and get me. Everybody else? Fuck em.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who is not a total stupid ass! And that's been next impossible lately! LOL (Get over the drama bullshit bitches!) **One thing I can't stand are stupid asses that expect you to act like your happy 24-7, its not realistic, those people are the world's real jerks, and it shows me they don't give a shit about the feelings of others. Realistically, its not a happy world out there, the world has a lot of horrible things going on, but I do have hope and I do try to remain optimistic, I hope others can live their life in a way that they can at least stay optimistic, too.

Writing and recording new music can be PAINFUL! Recently, I added a new song to my music player called, "Always" which might be the best song I've written so far.
Surprising since it was torturous coming up with the chorus and I nearly committed suicide searching for the right notes. Then, in studio, my violinist Jan Sullins had to single-handedly create the sound of a "Hollywood style" string section all by herself. This led her to a near suicide attempt until I talked her off the ledge.
So after all this pain and torture, I'm hoping the least you can do is check out "Always," track 1 in my music player. It's from my upcoming album, "Awakening," which is available for pre-order on May 26th at www.MarcEnfroy.com.
