The origin of PSK...
Punk Star Kid came to be like many great inventions come to be... the recognition of a void. A void in cool clothing for kids. Now we're not saying we are up there with the invention of the wheel and double stuffed Oreo's or anything like that but if we can help one child from looking like a neon candy cane, than we feel it's all worth it.
The idea behind PSK...
Punk Star Kid is more than just a clothing line, it's an attitude. No, not the attitude that's typically associated with the word "punk." It's an attitude of unconformity in relation to the choices that kids (as well as adults) are faced with everyday. We at PSK believe kids should be aware that every little thing is not good for you and asking "why" sometimes is not a bad thing. Kids are born with this inquisitive nature and it should be celebrated, nurtured and directed... not crushed. Kids with this kind of attitude may be labeled as "punks" by some, but to others they are "stars." We say let them be Punk Star Kids!
