May 28 2009 5:56 AM its so disappointing how each and everyone of us is going through the same issue yet the cure is just so out of reach. i hate that ruined my chances of joining the army, it makes me hide my body and be embarrassed of how i look. i cant go anywhere without being looked at funny if im not covered up. i hate the stares, i hate the fact that when some people get close to me physically, they begin to move away from me even knowing that its not contagious. it sucks how much this can hurt a person emotionally, physically and mentally. i have tried some of the most expensive ointments and creams and now biologics. going to be taking enbrel soon so i hope it works. i have taken humira which worked in the beginnning and when i missed two injections it went downhill from there. i have take clobex before and it dries my skin, i have taken dovonex, it helps to an extent. and soo much more. if anyone has psoriasis on the scalp, try putting olive oil at night and sleeping with it. it really does get rid of the scaling. gtg i'll be on again later.

LIKES TO LICK	Apr 14 2009 4:34 AM i just joined this tis to have ppl to talk to that know what its like to have psoriasis, ive ade it for about 5 yr my legs and arms are about 75-80% covered and lil spots on my back, chest and stomach. it clears up pretty good(bout 90% cleared) during winter months without using anything. I have been on damn near ever cream, pill, shot they make but the best thing i have ever used is Raptiva. its a shot aweek and cleared me completely in about 6 weeks, the downside to it is the insurence company doesnt like paying for it after being on it for 6 months they said no more. then i went on enbral and i came back worse than ever b4. now its all i can do to keep it from cracking and bleeding wen i work and being a machinist i need my arms and hands

I don't know anyone personally who has Psoriasis so no one around me understands what I'm going through. I don't want people to feel sorry (which is what they do), I just want them to understand.

I also talked to the teacher who was very excited to see the information on the Psoriasis Cure Now web page for teachers and children going back to school. She printed out the pages for the children's parents to read. I gave the teacher my Psoriasis Cure Now calender to hang in her class. She was very excited and so was I!!!!

Yeah...it's me, bitches.	Aug 8 2008 6:37 AM I'm really hoping that one day we will have universal healthcare so that I could one day afford treatment for my psoriasis. I've been forced to rely on homeopathic cures. I have to expose myself to UV rays 3 times a week in order to stay psoriasis free, I can't afford my prescriptions. So I've decided to risk cancer in order to keep my psoriasis at bay. My skin looks great at the moment but I worry about the UV damage I'm doing to myself.

I took the time to read Ben Franklin's journal about his ordeal with Psoriasis, and learned a new word... scurf... all the years I have been dealing with this disease and never heard that word before. I plan on using it in Scrabble, the first chance I get! Thank you for all the work you are doing... I appreciate it.
Actions Speak Louder Than Words!	Jun 15 2007 4:49 PM Are there certain foods that aggravate Psoriasis? Or foods that would help it? For instance I had one homeopathic doctor tell me my body could not process proteins. So would it be better for me to stay away from meats? Just wondering if any of you have any suggestions.
