About me:
In the player below you can find my 10 songs, MADE ON VARIOUS TOY-KEYBOARDS.
Micromusic project named PSS-270 has been established in 2005 to play micromusic / lo-fi / chiptune / casio-core stuff. My official site is:
http://republika.pl/pss270/
The music initially was supposed to be played only on YAMAHA PSS-270 keyboard - a small toy for children.
Finally I decided to use as many toy-keyboards as possible. For now I have toys such as:
YAMAHA PSS-270 (of course)
CASIO SK-5
CASIO MA-120
YAMAHA PSS-50
CASIO SA-39
CASIO SA-5
CASIO SK-1
YAMAHA PSS-680
CASIO MT-205
and the only toy version of Casio CZ series: Casio CZ-230S.
I don't use any sequencers. I play everything "from hand" and mix it on COOL EDIT Pro. I almost don't change the toys' sound; very rarely I add some reverb but you can state it's their original sound. But I permit, I will use some sound-modifications in future, when I get bored with still the same instruments.
My music is inspired by steam-punk, small old mechanical devices, horror-cabaret/horror-circus atmoshpere, Doctor Who mood, and classic-electronica musicians, like JM Jarre, Andrzej Szymalski, Vangelis, Marek Bilinski, Kraftwerk, Roman Wiercinski (Cyborg).
..
Who I'd like to meet: Giant robot with steam-engine inside.
