Buy Project Save The Earth's CD "Artists For The Seventh Generation". A brand new song written for the CD is called "The Seventh Generation" with music and lyrics by Jimmy Granstrom and David Prine and vocals by Elisabeth Bjurell. Other artists on the CD include Susie Päivärinta, Stephen Simmonds, Peter Wahlbeck, Moist (David Elfström Lilja) feat Íse, Ellen Molnia, Åsa Rydman, Solar Fields, I Awake, Lars Wallin, Jennie Ståbis, Odrörir, Anders "Dreamhawk" Eltebo, Marja Lindroth, Jane Tuominen and Mona Rosenberg. The songs on the CD make up an eclectic mix of various musical styles and is therefore a smorgasbord for all tastes. The proceeds from the CD will be paid in full to two of Project Save The Earth's important causes with 50% donated to helping children with neurological disorders and 50% to animals in need. PSTE foundation started in april 2007 to support an ecologically sustainable development. PSTE is registered with the Swedish Tax Agency ("Skatteverket") and the County Administrative Board ("Lansstyrelsen") in Sweden. Our organizational number is 802 425 - 48 26. An open economical account may be obtained from the country administrative board. The support group for PSTE, a non-profit organization - The Society for Project Save The Earth (FPSTE), started on September 19 2007. FPSTE is registered with the Swedish Tax Agency ("Skatteverket"). Organizational number is 802 438 - 28 74.
Why another fund and association dedicated for the environment? Because we look at the big picture and all raised means will be used towards putting focus on clarifying the underlying reasons behind our accelerating health and environmental problems, as well as supporting research that aims to identify potential reasons and work towards ecological balance by building and supporting ecologically self-sufficient villages. The climate threat is naturally also an important issue for PSTE and FPSTE.
We consider it to be a disaster that humanity, during less than 100 years in the long history of this planet, has moved the ecological balance when it comes to mother Earth - our only common home. The glaciers and the ices by the poles melt and the hole in the ozone layer keeps getting larger. Animals and plants are threatened with extinction. People are suffering from various diseases, just to mention a few examples. "You harvest what you sow" is certainly in full bloom around us. Does humanity really want it this way? And that it only keeps getting worse? And who has asked the children? Or the animals? If they could have chosen which world they would have wanted to be born into, they would have probably preferred a greener and more positive world. We have started PSTE for everybody's benefit, with the ideal that the modern civilized way to live should be as wholesome and natural as possible. "To live wisely like a peaceful Indian in modern time" would be a suitable description of our views.
Collected means for PSTE foundation will be used towards:
* Buying land around the world and create viability by building self-sufficient societies.
* Contribute to restoring nature to its former state prior to the devastation of our environment.
* Work towards inhibiting activities which constitute an environmental- and/or health risk.
* Support good conduct of animals and eliminate painful tests of animals
