About me:
As the Young Adult Leadership Team for the PSWD Church of the Brethren, we seek to engage young adults in a life of faith and in the community of the church by providing
space to:
< Experience the Divine
< Grow spiritually and be renewed
< Answer the deep human need to be in community
< Follow Jesus and seek to live lives of love, service, and abundance.
We are Young Adults, ‘continuing the work of Jesus; peacefully, simply, together.’
We will be planning events and hope you will attend! We hope that this page will serve as an open forum for all to share and discuss their stories, views, opinions and more. We welcome all opinions and ask that everyone be respectful of others while doing so. However, while visiting this page please know that the views and opinions do not necessarily represent the Pacific Southwest District. We hope that this page will serve as a place to learn, grow and reconnect. We anticipate this will be done in a respectful manner. Thanks for visiting and for your participation!

Burma -UPDATED-
Join other PSWD young adults on an adventure in southeast Asia this fall! The Young Adult Steering Committee has teamed up with the New Community Project to organize a November 30 - December 11, 2007 trip to Burma!
A beautiful land filled with gracious people, it's one of the most poignant places in the world: military government, oppressive poverty, 1991 Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi under house arrest for most of the past 26 years (her crime: winning the presidential elections), widespread ecological damage, slave labor-and that's just a start. We'll see cultural sites and visit out-of-the-way villages, while learning about the harsh realities of life. You don't have to take my word for it--listen to what Jim Carrey has to say: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NySuaJ2B20E Love to have some of you be a part of this trip--and get this: we'll be there on International Human Rights Day--December 10!!! If you want go, I need to know right away....
The trip will be led by NCP director David Radcliff. Cost: $700 (plus airfare)
