N.Y.C.'s Bloodiest band and the Bastard Sons of The King hisself, PSYCHO CHARGER, deliver an ultra-Horrific death-march thru the rotting R'n'R graveyard that's been described as "Horror Rawkillbilly"!!! Digging up influences from psychobilly, industrial, punk, surf, and gothic, these N.Y.C. psycho-rockers provide a horror-influenced, mutant cross-bred psycho-industrial-rawk assault that kicks and flails like a pissed-off two-headed bastard child at a family reunion!!! This is truly evil heavy-twang hell rock from the righteous side of the Devil's trailer park!!!
In the time the band has been together, PSYCHO CHARGER has travelled many miles and have left a blood-soaked trail up and down the east coast, throughout the midwest, and into Las Vegas. This consistent string of live shows has led to some pretty interesting circumstances for the band ranging from an ill-fated impromptu gig on the rooftop of the now closed CBGBs, being denied access to Canada, and touring with a live goat in the van. PSYCHO CHARGER have also layed down their sonic hell-rock assault in London, England where they headlined the "Bring Out Your Dead" Music Festival, and most recently in Toronto, Ontario Canada at the Rue Morgue Magazine Festival of Fear!!!
PSYCHO CHARGER has had the opportunity to share the stage with many with a wide variety of music acts including Horrorpops, Deadbolt, Los Straijackets, Cruxshadows, The Dwarves, Misfits, Nekromantix, Demented are Go, Nashville Pussy, The Electric Hellfire Club, The Riverboat Gamblers, The Gore Gore Girls, The Amazing (Royal) Crowns, The Independents, the Swingin' Neckbreakers, Andre Williams, Rudy Ray Moore, El Vez, Man or Astro Man?, Agent Orange, Sylvain Sylvain, Jayne County, The Mad Daddys, The Hillbilly Hellcats, Hi-Fi and the Roadburners, Link 80, the Belmont Playboys, new alt-rockers Dishwalla, and the legends Link Wray, Robert Gordon, and Ronnie Dawson.
In addition, PSYCHO CHARGER has cranked out CDs, music videos, appeared on numerous compilations, on TV spots for Spike TV, and contributed music to numerous independent films as well as featured in national/international magazines such as RUE MORGUE, GIRLS AND CORPSES, DROP DEAD and VIRUS MAGAZINE.
Currently, PSYCHO CHARGER is playing a regular string of live shows while working hard recording tracks for the follow-up CD to their widely successful "Curse of the Psycho" CD.
