The Psychodelic Blues is a progressive hard-fusion/rock/grunge band from Moscow, Russia. The band was formed in 2004 by the guitarist Alex "Boogieman" Shibaev and the bassist Paul "Smoky" Dymkov. Previously playing punk-rock music, these musicians decided to become rock musicians being fans of such bands like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin etc. The vocalist, Peter "Padre" Salnikov was found in two weeks, and so the work started. After writing some songs they've spent lots of time searching for a drummer. In different time periods the Psychodelic BLues band had about 10 different drummers who left one after another because of different reasons.
After spending some real depressive time without a constant drummer Padre has left the band. He decided to go play some funk with his friend from Paket Band as a vocalist.
But then again - Paket Band has been dismissed and Padre comes back to Psychodelic Blues, beginning a new life with this band.
Two more drummers left behind and some day guys meet Sergey Derzhavin. A perfect 'hard-leading' drummer played metal music before. The first accomnplished studio EP is ready for your attention.
