About me:
My name is Amos Tversky (in case you can't already tell). I am married to my lovely wife, Barbara, and we have three children Oren, Tal and Dona. I earned a bachelor's degree from Hebrew University in 1961, and my doctorate in 1965 from the University of Michigan. Yes, I am old. Later I began to teach at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Then I transfered to Stanford University, which was a note worthy change, where I have been working for the past 17 years. However, I do make it a habit to lecture at both Stanford, Tel Aviv University, and Hebrew University annually. In 1984 I was a recipient of the MacArthur Fellowship and in 1984 I was also presented the Guggenheim Fellowship. I may have been nominated for the Nobel Prize along with my close friend and reasearch partner Daniel Kahneman, but that's a different story for a different time.
