   About Adrian Breakspear
Working at several London recording studios as an assistant/engineer....looking to work with up and coming artists in a production/engineering role. Currently working with Acusis on 3 new tracks (production) plus mixing their forthcoming album, and on tracks for electro rockers iMightDisco (production).

If your band has a demo in which you're reasonably happy with the performances, but feel that certain aspects can be improved (for example the overall mix, vocal tuning, removal of mistakes or drum timing/sound) please get in touch to discuss what I might be able to do for you.

Recent projects:

- Engineered the forthcoming single "Work" by gorgeous girl band The Saturdays - hopefully soon to be my first Top 10 engineering credit!

- Mixed "Save Me" for TwinThea AKA Dave McNamara, a NW-based singer and songwriter - listen to the extract on the myspace player!

- Engineered the forthcoming album by Exit Calm - if you like early Verve, guitar atmospherics and big vocal tunes, you'll like these guys.

- Whilst in Australia, produced and engineered a new song for Sydney band Kristensong -check it out on the myspace player!

- Mixed 3 tracks for Kat Vipers on her now-available "Longplay" CD - extract soon to be added to this page.

- Mix assistant and additional Pro Tools editing on the soon-to-be-released Razorlight album "Slipway Fires".

- Finally finished off the mixing for Red Star 11's The Diamond EP - a project I recorded, produced and mixed from start to finish - so I'm pretty proud of it!

- Mix assistant and Pro Tools for Black Kids "Partie Traumatic" album, currently getting great reviews.

- Co-Engineered and Pro-Tools opped for debut album from new Croydon band The Tunics.

- Co-Engineered and Pro-Tools opped on tracks for Simon Webbe (following work on his track "Ride the Storm", featured in the Fantastic Four film)

- Recorded and mixed forthcoming Daniel Johnston forthcoming live DVD "The Angel and Daniel Johnston" - the documentary "The Devil and Daniel Johnston" featured in Rolling Stone's Top Rockumentary feature. Recorded at the Union Chapel, Islington, mixed in stereo and 5.1 at Strongroom.

Also playing and producing for "The Mile High Young Team" - kind of folky/rocky stuff. With cellos.

The rest of the time, I generally try to not work and have a bit of a life.....oh, and I like cats.

..

Movie for the ALERT Lion Conservation charity - I took the African vocal music and turned it into the soundtrack to this film.
.... ..

A video I've soundtracked as a demo for my writing to picture skills.
Visuals by Robert Butcher of Big Features, audio by Adrian Breakspear. Oh and the audio works now...
