I have this conversation all the time on how Punk isn't dead, it just died out with a lot of people. We are not those people. It still is very much true to us in our everyday lives. We are Punks.This is who we are.
We are not the dumb fuckers who wave the flag of anti-establishment, unemployed, chainsmokin, homeless, vegan either. That's not revolution, that's just lazy.
We are not the pussy "Punx" who can't go out unless we are decked out head to toe like straight out of a Hot Topic catalog. Those people don't realize that long after their clothes are no longer main stream socially acceptable and they move on, we will still be here true to ourselves.
We are not the kind of Punkers that dismiss you if don't know all the names of the guys in Iron Cross's original line up. It's fuckin music not baseball cards you assholes, just enjoy it. We are not the prude punx who can't listen to anything other than obscure rare pressing punk records. However I must admit that records do sound very very very fuckin cool......
We are the guys who work jobs to pay bills and play Punk to be sane. We like what we like (Clash / Adolescents / Stiff little Fingers / Naked Raygun /Wire / Pagans / Dictators / Negative Approach / Zeros and this list goes on....) and you know that we will always be these people till the day we die.
Our music is not for everybody. We like it like that.
