A complete solo project titled, Psychosis Formatted. An electronic blend of influences from melodic synth-pop, cut-throat vocals of metal, distorted beats that shift and the occasional droning guitar-work that bites with a crunch.
The tracks have a broad range of being completely symphonic to industrial complexity of melodies with the accompaniment of synthetic beats. Psychosis Formatted tries to mesh together several genres (from ambience, classical, down-tempo, industrial, metal, to trip-hop) to come up with innovative songs.
Psychosis Formatted, I created this solo project initially to help me become a producer. I was in the middle of the Pacific when I started and I didn't know a thing about music production or any bands. So I wrote my own music. Self-taught with reading a massive amount of material. It grown into a monster of its own.
Music is my passion. I live it, feel it and feed off it. I've been a mediocre guitar player since high school. I enjoy writing my music and it eventually took over. Soon after I wanted to create something different from the norm, musically. In that I hope you enjoy what I have created.
Psychosis Formatted, what it means to me. It's an outlet to my inner consciousness that screams out to be heard but I ignore and calmly drown it in my everyday activity. Conditioned by society, controlled by our fears, we don't face what our sub-consciousness is telling us. We place it aside for another day that never comes. My passion, my dreams, my fears, my love, my needs, my morals, my integrity, my sanity is a hurricane of emotions that resides in me. Music helps me express what words can not describe. It helps erase all the frustrations in my life. It formats my mind to be free.
