Almost fifteen years of rock n roll and friendship, this is the story of one of the most longlife indie band of Italy. It began in 1995 with a demotape (Extra Sugar Coffee) full of punk, noise and rock. In the 1996 another demotape (Sugar Candy) was the final step to record a cd (Ever Ready) released the next year for the indie label MAGENTA RECORDS. Good reviews, radio and tv shows and concerts everywhere closed the 1997, and, unfortunately, MAGENTA REC., closed too. It was the 1998 when the four guys decided to keep on rocking doing everything by themselves. During the early months of 2000 Psychosun released another single named “psychosun” with four tracks, and the next year the band was included into a british compilation and they did a little tour in the U.K.. The song Supervixen was included into the garage punk compilation SNAPS released in the U.S.A.. You can tell however that in their music the band likes to play around with rock and roll and that they take inspiration from different types of music from the past: Television, Cure, Clash Nomads. However there is also another face to Psychosun, one that is intimate and romantic. Slow songs are steeped with English pop and American Indie music. The last cd "Silly Things" produced by Urtovox rec. and realeased in november 2005 had good reviews during 2006. After the recording session, the band took part in the making of the short film "Fumo", directed by the Salentine director Ippolito Chiarello. The band made the soundtrack, as well as acted in the movie. "Fumo", was presented at the 2005 Los Angeles Italian Film Festival, and at the Bellaria Festival, near Rimini. This short film will become a full feature length film. Another song is into a new compilation (Songs for another place) released by Urtovox and the american label Awful Bliss. Now the band have written new songs with a new mood inside, that reflects the place where they live: a farm. Growing plants and rock n roll at the same time brought them to the roots of rock. They have played a couple of gigs in Barcellona during May 2007 (look at the pics section) and now they are arranging the new songs to be recordered during this Auptumn 2008.

Luke Lukas torna con un album carico di quella gioiosa malinconia che ci aveva già fatto innamorare di lui qualche tempo fa. Rinunciando al suo fedele 4 tracce, ci fa il prezioso dono di ben 12 pezzi folk dagli arrangiamenti sempre perfetti. Luke si rivela un animo gentile, ma come ogni film western ci ha insegnato, dietro l'aria pacata di ogni Texano si nasconde un terribile killer.
