For the uninitiated, the Psycho Surgeons were a band with a twist; namely Wild Willi Beckett, a showman of rare ability, as the terrifying, axe-wielding Doctor. In various incarnations, they rampaged across the UK and Europe throughout the 80s and 90s, delighting fans and upsetting venues’ neighbours. Many a review mentioned a ‘total assault on the senses’ (or words to that effect). Mission accomplished. ......

By the way, this is the official band site which is run by ourselves who we have officiously appointed as official website officials. That's how official it is. Everything we could find that is Surgeons-related has been posted here for the sake of keeping it all in one place. The main exception is WW's shoe collection which he bequeathed to Jont (probably to get him back for something or other) and would prove difficult to digitise anyway. But everything else is here. Contributions to this site - other than shoes - are very welcome.....
