Movies
Horror films, psychological thrillers, low-budget films, foreign films, independent films...really, to name each film I've seen that has had an effect on me would take too much space, but some that stand out (which is a sickening lie, since the only reason they "stand out" is because they are the only ones I recall at the moment) are:Oldboy, Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance, Machinist, American Psycho, Crank, Leon: The Professional, Lucky Number Slevin, The Jacket, Momento, Run Lola Run, Equilibrium,
Television
Key shows really: The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Stand-Up Comedy, Scrubs, 24, Deadwood, Anime, Etc.
Books
Lessee...surreality is my blood: Carlton Mellick III, Steve Niles, Simon R. Green, Edgar Allen Poe, Marquis De Sade, and pretty much anything that forces me to see the world for what it really is: A shitty disgusting place.
Heroes
None come to mind. I've yet to need saving. But there are a few people I admire:
-----Actors:
Tom Cruise - Don't deny that this man doesn't give his all to his roles, regardless of who he is in Real Life.
Zach Braff - He epitomizes in his acting what I've always sought to capture in my own.
Christian Bale - The range of his personas, and his commitment to the role inspire me to go above and beyond.
-----Comedians:
Dane Cook - He is himself, and that person is a funny guy. Some have to become a comedian, but he always was. And that rocks.
-----Musicians:
-----Other:
Prabhu Deva Sundaram/Choreographer - this gentleman's dancing ability and his passion are inspiration, especially these days where rhythm is so vibing to me.
Stephen Colbert - Self-assured, Confident, and never backs down, his persona encourages the notion that you can never take no as an answer.
Rachel Rae - This woman inspires me to better myself as a cook, and to respect those who wait on others, because it's not easy back there on the grill. You slave for your art, for people who likely never even think twice about what effort was put in it.

That about sums it up, but if you need more, let me tell you certain aspects of me that I think best define me: Hateful. Very Angry. Bottled Up. Spiteful. Self-Loathing. Arrogant. Selfish. Vain. Unpredictable. Random. Stubborn. Unappreciative. Silly. Perplexing. Bi-Curious. Not Really. Was Funny Though. Tickled Pink. Regrets. Bloody Finger Tips. Blood-Shot Eyes. Sneeze Alot. Animal Lover. Carnivore. Jive Turkey.
Getting to know me might be the worst thing you could ever hope to do, because more often than not I'll make you rip out your rhetorhical hair and regret eating from my big ol' bag of crazy pills. You never know what can transpire these days though.
I'm a writer. I prefer the term poet at times, but I do a lot more different kinds of writing than just poetry. It's probably my greatest pleasure and my worst torment. I'm always driven to say -something-, but when I do, it fails to reach my any likeness of the vision I had for it. I'm probably the worst writer in the world, and I have to admit: Part of me takes comfort in that.
I'm also an actor, though recently I've encountered a significant hiatus from any form of acting. I hope to see both my titles come into play at some point, on the big screen, and the sooner the better, of course. I'm Vice-President of Sever-D Films(from IAP [RIP] lineage), and responsible for a portion of the bizarre and depraved lunacy, as well as some of the outrageous and side-splitting hilarity that brews from the collaborative group.
I'm a fanatic of music. I love hearing new music, finding new artists and expanding my ever rotating collection, both for the audible high achieved from creativity resonating, and to be able to spread further those new artists, in hopes of doing my portion as a fan and admirer. I've toyed with the idea of starting a band myself at times, but this requires more than just a heart for the game - it requires instruments. So I bide my patience with listening. Though it seems to vary from time to time, in the end(of my life), the fact remains: It will always be heavy, and it will always be metal. They'll bury me dead in the blighted earth and scorched rocks with an orchestra of imbittered sirens tearing through mind and hope - blaring out a tragic rift so loud and vicious, that the vile force shall summon up a maelstrom high in the sky above my grave, that shall spiral into manifest apocalypse ripping through mankind. And as the trailing winds that seem to whisper my name in mourning slowly die down and begin to fade, long after everyone else has walked away, the crows will gather at my headstone and mumble to one another, with frantic asylum eyes, about my achievements in life, and the coming reign there-after.
Lastly: I'm obsessed with Horror. I love horror films, and memorabilia and any such thing that brings a skip to a heartbeat. Japanese culture is also dear to me, and I take bladder-tingling pleasure when both combine, such as Bloody Ukiyo-e. I'm fascinated with the occult, and I love learning anything I can about any supernatural subject I encounter. I've got an unhealthy obsession with clowns. I am one. I do not directly follow Norse Mythology as a distinct belief, but I feel many of it's aspects apply in life, and I like to think that out there, somewhere, anxious and tapping her toes with arms crossed, is a beautiful war-torn Valkyrie waiting to take me home. I hope I make her proud.
So what does all this mean? Who knows. Maybe I felt like compromising my reality by enlightening you. Maybe it's all part of this celestial, or perhaps infernal, long-standing prophesy in which I ultimately regret letting you know this much about me. Shrug. Anything else that you grow intrigued to learn - feel free to ask.
* First off, how can I ever hope to categorize myself by the people I hope to meet? It's not like a movie star or a basketball player would have some intriguing and profound effect on my life, altering my view of the world so much so that I cannot comprehend how I ever managed to live otherwise. I want significant encounters. I welcome all, but cherish most the ones that leave their mark.
* Most folk would likely say their maker. I don't need to meet that ethereal concept. I know full well I was made to last, and outlast. Why wonder?
* Anyone out there who can fix me - I've been broken a long time, and it's time we made me right.
* There are also a lot of thoughts in my head, that spring up from a place quite dark - a place quite grim. I'd like to meet the people that run it.
* The man who was my father, but only on the day he dies, so I know what he truly thinks of me.
* The girl of my dreams. Or a close proximity. At least one I don't wish to cut to pieces.
* The REAL me. I'm sure I could learn a thing or two.
