Psycle is a 4-piece modern rock band that is based out of Providence, RI.
The four musicians who comprise Psycle are dedicated and focused on
reaching their main goal: to make great music that people will enjoy.
Psycle's writing and musical influences include Tool, Pink Floyd,
Sevendust, Phish, Steely Dan, and A Perfect Circle. Rhode Island Online
Magazine writes, "Psycle carries in their musical arsenal with emotional
tunes, heavy bass, and guitar lines without the chaotic thrashing that one
may expect from a band." Psycle's blend of energy and musical drive enables
them to continuously produce great sounds.
Seth (lead vocals/guitar) is the bands front man and a founding member of
the group. As a vocalist and lyricist, Seth infuses every word and phrase
with passion. As a songwriter, he produces songs that are both accessible
and unique. He has a remarkable approach to writing a kick ass rock song.
Shawn (drums/vocals) has been playing Drums since the age of three. He is
an intense drummer with impeccable timing. Shawn enjoys listening to and
playing all types of genres including Hard Rock, Jazz, Funk, Fusion,
Hip-Hop, Samba, African-style drumming and more.
Dave (lead Guitar/vocals), a Berklee-trained guitarist, plays virtuosic and
inspiring lead lines with searing sound and kick ass licks that no one can
touch!
Adam (bass guitar/vocals) brings a new fresh sound to the band. He puts the
F-U in Funk! His ability to take a beat and fill it with constantly moving
and progressing bass lines creates a fat bottom-end that moves you.
Psycle is looking forward to heading back into the studio in late 2009 to
start working on their new album.
Psycle has entertained at both large and small venues throughout the
Northeast, ranging from the Continental in New York City to the
International Tall Ships Festival in Newport, Rhode Island. They are
developing a devout following and quickly establishing themselves as "the
band to see" throughout southern New England and beyond. For information
