Jordi Lucas Gil (Sabadell ,1983) a.k.a Psytotix es un viejo conocido de la escena electrónica barcelonesa. Su relación con el mundo de la música empieza a la temprana edad de 15 años, cuando entra a formar parte del equipo “Skndol”, conocido grupo promotor vallesano cuyas sesiones de tarde en el club A18 todavía son recordadas en la Zona Hermética de Sabadell. Después de varios años de trabajo en salas, descubrió la cultura rave y las fiestas libres. Atraído por lo que acababa de descubrir, inicio su andadura en la escena electrónica mas underground convertíendose en un asiduo a free-partys, y clubs como la cova, en la cual descubrió al colectivo Muskaria y el Psychedelic Trance.

Un nuevo mundo se abría ante sus ojos, al instante quedo atrapado y decidío involucrar-se en la escena, entrando a formar parte del colectivo vallesano Dreams Factory. Con este monto infinidad de free-partyes, colaboro en festivales (Hazard, Happy Festival), clubs (Freestyle, Mistik Club, La Sepia Verda,) y con la gran mayoría de colectivos catalanes relacionados con la escena (Muskaria, Trikomdelik, Psykomaniak, No-Psylence, Cosmic Wizards). En 2008, junto con diferentes colectivos de trance, techno, drum & bass, etc…, forma parte de la organización del Underground Meeting Point, free-festival celebrado en Castellar del Valles, que durante dos días reunió a mas de 2000 amantes de la electrónica underground, actuando a mas, en el escenario trance.

Es en 2008 también, cuando comienza una relación con Muskaria, especialmente con Dj, Hands, el qual confio en el para que entrara a formar parte del colectivo barcelonés.

Desde ese momento Psytotix no ha parado, sesiones en reputados clubs catalanes (Rachdinge, Saint Trope, Lokotron, Begood Club, La Nau, Ciclick, Torres de Avila, Club Zoreks, Blue Iguana), y recientemente estreno residencia en Input Club, Sabadell.

Las sesiones de Psytotix se caracterizan por una gran energia y un sonido influenciado por la escena trance israeli, especialmente por sellos como Dooflex Records, con el cual ha colaborado recientemente compartiendo cabina con U-recken, destacado productor de Tel- Aviv. A parte de Yaniv Ben Ari, también ha actuado con, Alien Project, G.M.S, Mising Inka, Starspine, Spiritual Light, Psychoz, Display y Dj Torry.

Jordi Lucas Gil (Sabadell, 1983) a.k.a Psytotix, is well known in the electronic scene in Barcelona. At the early age of 15 he gets into the staff of “Skndol”, the promoting group in charge of Club A18 afternoon sessions, still in the mind of everyone who has gone to the Zone Hermetica in Sabadell. After many years working in clubs, he discovered the rave culture and free parties, and he started in the electronic and underground scene. This new world captivated him and he decided to get involved in the Dreams Factory collective with whom he organized a lot of free-parties, collaborating in festivals like Hazard and Happy Festival, clubs like Freestyle, Mistik Club, and La Sepia Verda, and with many of the catalan trance collectives (Muskaria, Trikomdelik, Psykomaniak, No-Psylence, Cosmic Wizards). In 2008, he was one of the main organizers of the Underground Meeting Point free-festival celebrated in Castellar del Valles, where he also played on the trance stage. The two-day long festival joined more than 2000 electronic underground lovers.

Since UMP 08, where he started his relation with “Muskaria” and Dj Hands (the one who encoureged him to be a part of the group), Psytotix has played DJ sets on important catalan clubs such as Rachdinge, Saint Trope, Lokotron, Begood Club, La Nau, Ciclick, Torres de Avila, Club Zoreks, Blue Iguana; and he is recently acting as a DJ resident in Input Club Sabadell.

Psytotix DJ sets are very energic and influenced by israeli trance, specially by Dooflex Records, and the Tel-Aviv producer U-recken, with whom he has collaborated recently.
