    An update to "De Niro's Game", author Hage is from Montreal now, and this first novel, besides winning the IMPAC Award, won the McAuslan First Book Prize and the Paragraphe Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction. and was a finalist for the Scotiabank Giller Prize, the Governor General's Literary Award, the Writer's Trust Award, and the Commonwealth Writers' Prize.
