    Be sure to check out our awesome thrift store, Secondhand Tails, at 6500 McClellan Boulevard, in Anniston. This store supports our shelter and helps to keep it running. Donations (as well as volunteers) gladly accepted. Reach the store at 256-847-1125.

Last year more than 2,000 cats and dogs were abandoned at Calhoun County Humane Society d/b/a The Animal Shelter. It is our responsibility to care for these animals until they find homes. We rely on the support of individuals in our community. You will make a difference for the abused, neglected, injured and homeless animals needing a second chance. There are 111,616 citizens residing in Calhoun County. Would you please be one of the individuals to sacrifice the price of one dinner out per month? Please become a committed donor.
