So the story goes a Sweet Young Thing was waiting on the school bus for the very first time on the very first day of school. It was the eighties in south America, a time and place bearing almost no resemblance to the world we live in today. Little kiddies waited in the dark out front of the trailer park for that hell on wheels to chug up and cart them off to certain death, or at the very least certain humiliation. And so it was on that very first day of school that SYT climbed the steps of that school bus, stared into the face of Gloria the bus driver, held back the tears as Gloria yelled to harry up, and found a seat as far from Gloria as possible next to an older, cooler, blacker boy. Man it was weird, and scary, and young thing was so fucking tired! The ride was long and lonely so the youth turned to older cooler. What's your name? It was an easy and obvious question but his answer was confusing and embarassing:

Puddin' Tang! Ask me again and I'll tell you the same!

Uh uh, what's your real name?

Puddin' Tang is my name, ask me again and I'll tell you the same!

But seeing the sadness well up in young thing's eyes he added "You can be Puddin' Tang too!"

From that day on it was estimated that a "Puddin' Tang" was born every five minutes, up until about 1988 when "Bo" started to take over.
