Brown Town Looters/Pueblo Café " BIOGRAPHY..... The year was 1990 in East Los Angeles when the group was first created by lead rapper Anthony Campos aka tha big bad “CITRIC” & Oscar F. Venegas aka “d.j. CLEAR WATER”. The group was known back than as “BROWN TOWN / BROWNTOWN LOOTERS”, witch in Spanish translates to “PUEBLO CAFÉ”, Over the years the group has manage to put out a number of underground c.d.’s. there first song ever released in 1992 was “Dope house in the getto” in 1995 they released there first full blown c.d. entitled “Koncrete Phunk” in 1997 they did in exclusive c.d. for japan “Live & Learn” witch also lead them to japan to head line a Japanese low rider super show, in 2002 they released a double c.d. self titled “Browntown Looters” one disc was spanglish & the other one was all in Spanish, & they have also appeared in a number of compilations such as "The ollin project" "The never ending battle" " defintion of brown parts 1 & 2" "HIP HOP showcase vol. 1". & in 2004 the group put out an all Spanish c.d. “Busca Oro”(gold diggin) witch is when the group officially became “Pueblo Café”… so now the year is 2007 & the group is getting ready to drop another c.d. in spanglish entitled “La Batalla” (the battle) with the help of long time friends "Kinto Sol" it will be pushed out by there label "Virus Enterprises". plus there also working on another c.d. (no tilted yet) but sure 2 be slammin of course. plus The group has done many tours & opened up for a lot of well known artist, such as “Kid Frost” “Cypress Hill” “Mellow Man Ace” “Coolio” “A lighter shade of brown” “Roger & Zapp” “Rodney O & Joe Cooley” “Ice Cube” & the list goes on, the group has been around the world & back & there still putting in work, The only diffrence now is dat “Citric” started his own independent record label / management co. entitled “Big & Bad entertainment, inc.” & also the group are now official members of "Block Royal West" with citric as one of the leaders along side of Reeko Hood & Jorge Bravo of Loyalty n Honor.also official members of krs-1,s temple of hip-hop. so now its time to take it to another level, With the help of his fellow crew members "Brown Huero" "D.J. Clearwater" & "Ace ". & helping out wit all the legal matters will be "Lori & Martin Cano". so be looking out for Brown Town / Pueblo Cafe. in the mean time we have some ruff mixed tracks off of both c.d.'s posted up, so give us some feed back, & we thank you for your time.....peace !!!
