Puerto Muerto
Puerto Muerto began life as Johnny Deformed in Saint Louis four years ago. The pair played minimalist music with the ego of a twelve piece band. The two members share the writing responsibilities.
Puerto Muerto (Tim Kelley and Christa Meyer) are based in Chicago and Saint Louis. In Chicago, they live in a huge complex called the Cavebarn, which includes their apartment as well as the studio they record in
Recently Puerto Muerto toured the UK and Russia. In England they drank beer and in Russia they drank various hard liquors. They will be back in the UK and Europe in May and will then be found wandering the west and east coasts in August.
At this time the duo is working on “Songs of Muerto County”, an original score to the 1973 classic film, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”.

Thanx! No real damage done, it was only the brain and the heart. And what shape they were in, I think you can well imagine! Yeah, things are looking up. All is sex and brandy! Yrs, BJD&FC
Changing your picture I presume?! I'm back after a period of illness, but you gave me such a nice soundtrack I almost forgot the pain... FC says hello! Yrs, BJD
You got yourselves a fancy, new album and I want to buy it. Not from some crappy iTunes bullshit. I had to do that for H&D and while the music was the same lovely music, I had an emptiness in my heart I could not fill.
I turned to Crystal Meth. It worked for a while, but it kept requiring more and more and more to fill the whole in my heart. So I then turned to prostitution to help pay for my meth habit. After about a week my pimpess, Jizzabelle, started abusing me. She would yell that I "needed to be tighter" while using a crescent wrench on my dick.
So here I am, a shell of a man, with a $10,000 a week meth habit, disfigured genitals and finger cancer. Did I mention I have finger cancer?
The doctor says that the only way I can be cured is for you two to play a show and sell me I Was A Swallow.
So I know this is a huge favor, but please save my life.
Love, Mike "I-have-finger-cancer" Hayes
PS- Forward this to 5 friends within the next 5 minutes and you will win an iPod. Also, if you don't, your bestest friend will get the flu. Them's the breaks!

"quite a few years ago, a gigantic, evil-smelling rotten egg exploded and sent its foul odor throughout the radios of the world. it was called rock and roll. from this swampland of garbage fumes emerged monstrous off-key sounds of various nasal vocal groups and pimple-faced boys and girls croaking their unintelligible lyrics for djs to release like a vast plague into the ears of the defenseless public."
