This isn’t really a band per se...The only reason I posted this is because I did a duo with one of my good friends while we were shit-faced drunk - which turned into "remember this." The song and lyrics were written by him (mostly) and seeing as that he is now an unofficial member of my band - and he doesn’t have one (and since I "produced" it - if that’s what you want to call it) I declared the band name Pump Scout. Pump Scout is a combination of different parts of our names made into two words. The rest of the songs on here were all written, recorded, and "produced" in my bedroom. "Remember this" was recorded with me holding the microphone next to his face while he listened to the guitar part with a very short headphone cable on $5 headphones. He did not go back and fix any of his vocals...Nor did I. I recorded the "backing vocal" track in the same manner, except while holding the microphone for myself. Same goes if you want to add a guitar/bass/drum track. This is more of an experimental idea than it is a band. All collaborators will receive credit for their contribution and will be added into the band members section. This obviously will never be a touring band. If you have stuff you have produced yourself and want to send...Feel free. I’ll try to get someone I know to add another part. Obviously you will receive credits for anything you produce or write. Think of it like an ultimate networking opportunity (assuming the idea catches on). My goal is to have enough tracks that I can rotate them weekly (for now). Man if this idea works I guess I’ll start blogging this info.
We gotta new song coming out in a week or so. The solo at the beginning sounds like it should be in the movie Top Gun. It will make you want Pump Scout as your Wing-man!
