After more than 3 years of clinical explorations, DIVINE MUZAK finally exposes the newest full length studio album deconstructed in the most mature and subjective sound style ever designed by the duo.
MAISON SKINNY, the ultimate DIVINE MUZAK pain collection, embodies 11 organic stories full of multiple insights and subjective perspectives on the human body. MAISON SKINNY is in itself a metaphor of the body, a body that dismisses love in the morning and tastes starvation at night, that releases liquids in partyrooms and covers itself with silk, bruises and angústia.
The new DIVINE MUZAK album is a passenger through many musical genres and interpretations, but only settles in between borders. It contains 60 minutes swallowed by plastic drumbeats, cruel analog synthesizers, retro organs, kinky guitar strings, weeping musical saw and theremin tears, isolated accordion keys and departed acoustic instruments, along with emotional and deep girlie vocals.
DIVINE MUZAK is reaching its highest by creating a personal recipe for a bizzare medicine made of electronica, lounge, industrial, cabaret, post-modern psychedelia, dark pop and looney poetry. con lo splendido “Evidence Of Heaven”. Quando ad inizio anni novanta si
cominciò a parlare di Faith & The Muse qualcuno scrisse “è come
vedere la rabbia dei Christian Death incontrare la dolcezza dei Cocteau
Twins”: parole sacrosante, visto il largo spettro sonoro affrontato dal
gruppo nei suoi ormai 15 anni di carriera.
