Hailing from the Toronto area, Canadian trio Puncturevine brings an emotionallly vibrant, yet strikingly unique and original tone to electronic music. While experimenting with raw sound textures in the vein of Front 242 or early nine inch nails, puncturevine also incorporates a more modern, groove-oriented feel, along with heavey concentration on vocal performance and texture. Gritty, bluesey vocal lines contrast sooth, thick layered harmonies, and then jump into full-on industrial distortion. Lyrically, PV is very direct. We try to speak about real human experience, pain, love, and spiritual change, but from the perspective of our own experiences. We are currently promoting our 4th full length studio release "pyro", following our three previous albums "burn", "unravelling fire" and "ignite". Pyro is a much heavier, club-oriented sounds than our prevoius albums, but maintains a concentration on lyrics with substance and sonic experimntation.

Do you guys ever perform here in Kitchener? I ask because I'm going to be ready to perform for the first time probably sometime around March. If you needed an opener or something, that'd be awesome.
