About me:
Jurgen aka "Jurg" to many is one of Tilburg's worldtronica music rebels as well as part-time journalist, DJ, scene-plugger and "musical messenger". Known primarily to promoters and artists in the Netherlands, San Francisco, London and Berlin undergorund music scenes most notably via blogs and in-depth reviews for www.asiandubfoundation.eu, Jurgen is a revered tastemaker and opinion leader who is the "ear on the street" for radio channels like BBC (Radio 1, Asian Network) and Dutch national radio.
Jurgen's ability to synergize artists across borders and genres through his exclusive interviews, coordination of remix projects and wide travels have helped bring together a fusion of global sounds originating from the music of the Asian Underground to the Balkans, from Istanbul to Brazilian breakbeat. As DJ he has performed at international music festivals and dub-heavy events. Jurgen can never to pass up the opportunity to crate dig on his extensive travels in search of 'new sounds' and forgotten dubplates.
Jurgen's keen ear and eye to the (under)ground for new talent will be bringing forth genres yet undiscovered and sounds you may not have heard of...but would love to.
hey, probl with the noise and neighbors, damn mitte! was a shame, cuz the people were real cool and we could have continued until 7 or so...next time :))))
It..s your birthday, right? So I wish you all the best. I wish you to come here an play a dj-set not once but many-many times and meet me! I wish all your dreams will come true!
