_________________________________________________________________ I got a commitment at the Inaugural Youth Ball from the producer of an HBO documentary on homeless youth (that he is now filming) that he will include interviews with homeless GLBT youth in the film. The producer hadn’t thought of doing that before I mentioned it. He was happy to hear that I’ll put him in touch with the head of the national Sexual Minority Youth organization who can help arrange those interviews. I consider that a great accomplishment, because large numbers of GLBT youth are thrown out of their homes after they come out to their parents! I believe certain religious institutions and their leaders are a significant source for a lot of the negative emotions parents feel toward their gay children. Statistics back up this belief. I work in Washington, D.C. I live in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of the city. That's right in the heart of the new gay & straight young professional portion of the Dupont-East and Logan Circle 'hoods. I live in a condo on beautiful 16th Street with a view of the White House, monuments, and a sliver of the Potomac River. My condo is between P and Q Streets, NW, nine blocks north of the White House.
I enjoy running, hiking, skiing, working out, collecting CD’s & DVD’s, sailing, traveling, hanging with friends, and meeting new friends. It would be nice to have a love relationship, although that's not essential for my happiness.
