My Mom and grandparents; Vivienne Westwood; Rockin' moms everywhere!
I've designed, sewn, and generally worked with some area of fashion since as far back as I can remember. If I was old enough to walk, I was old enough to play dress up. If I had fabric, I would make it into something to wear....which (with staples and safety pins at 8 years old) my mom told me was not appropriate for public places. She also taught me how to sew with a machine (though I still am fond of safety pins.) As a pre-teen I was sewing labels on garments for my dad, in which I now think of fondly as my own private sweat shop (garage, in actuality.) And I was always excited about starting school again because it meant that I could put together back to school outfits!
Now at 29, I've been a costumer, worked at two vintage apparel shops, and been employed for four years as a graphic designer and logo developer in the garment industry, and am currently working as a freelance graphic artist in Los Angeles- mainly for apparel companies.
I'm really excited about PunkBaby Clothing for wee ones with style! Products include basic t's, pants, jackets, and hats with not so basic embellishments, matching accessories, and many other miscellaneous fun stuff for kids. If you‘ve got a different style, I have something that your child can wear to match. Sharp and Edgy, but always kid friendly! PunkBaby Clothing will rock your baby’s waking world! (since none of the clothes are intended for sleepwear...)
