I will now talk about myself in the third person for several paragraphs. awesome.
Punketta Doilie had been DJing on college radio since 1995 before arriving on Boston's music scene in 2000. After time spent broadcasting
The Punketta Doilie Show on Boston College's
WZBC, her DJ sets introduced Boston's dark electro dance floors to her no-holds-barred preference for beat-driven, aggressive electro-industrial. In April of 2008, she returned to radio with a set for premier electronic music program
Revolutions on Emerson College's WERS 90.3
Her eclectic sets are comprised of various elements and influences; a main course of electro-industrial with sides of goth, noise, drum 'n bass, EBM, electro-clash, hip-hop, bit-pop, steampunk and/or synthpop, seasoned to taste.
A regular behind the decks at the now-defunct gothic outpost
Manray, Punketta has spun at the best dark electronic events in the New England area, including the annual Halloween extraveganza
Bloodfeast,
Vigil,
Xmortis,
Ceremony,
Music for a Robot Uprising,
Darq in Salem, MA,
Plague in Portland, ME,
The New Designer's Fetish Fashion Show and the
Fetish Fair Fleamarket afterparties
, SMack! in NYC and
Dracula's Ball in Philadelphia, PA.
She co-founded
[:angeldustrial:], a community of similar-minded individuals who worked to expose the Boston-area goth-industrial scene to different flavors of dark electronic music and bring stellar foreign and domestic dark electronic artists to the Boston area, including Stromkern, Noisex, Hypnoskull, Department of Mental Health, Haujobb and Tunnel.
Punketta Doilie collaborated with Infrastructure (Stacia Tucker) on a remix of
Mindless Self Indulgence's "Straight to Video". The remix disk spent 95 weeks on Billboard's Hot Dance Singles Sales chart, dominating the #1 for several straight weeks.
She started

(My So-Called 90,,s Night),
Volvox,
Commodore Vic and
Baldur among many, many others. She was the resident DJ at
Shelter a monthly dark electro-industrial dance party.
She has been featured in the Boston Globe and profiled in the DJ Issue of

She recently competed in Puma's MP3 Beatdown 2009 Championships held at the Boston ICA alongside teammates
Yes&No, and currently manages
Provocateur a electro-dance-pop band that you should really book to your festival. Seriously, they are awesome.
BANDS - Terribly sorry, but I don't accept friend requests from bands on here, I get waaaaay too many. If you want me to listen to your stuff, just send a message. I'll add you if I like what I hear. :)
