I will now talk about myself in the third person for several paragraphs. awesome.
Punketta Doilie had been DJing on college radio since 1995 before arriving on Boston's music scene in 2000. Through her time broadcasting The Punketta Doilie Show on Boston College's WZBC and her DJ sets at area goth-industrial club nights introduced Boston's dark electro dance floors to her no-holds-barred, beat-driven mix of aggressive electro-industrial.
Her eclectic sets are comprised of various elements and influences, mostly electro and industrial, but with goth, noise, drum 'n bass, EBM, electro-clash, hip-hop, bit-pop, steampunk and/or synthpop thrown in.
A regular behind the decks at the now-defunct gothic outpost Manray, Punketta has spun at the best dark electronic events in the New England area, including Bloodfeast, Xmortis, Ceremony, Music for a Robot Uprising, SMack! in NYC and Dracula's Ball in Philadelphia, PA.
She co-founded [:angeldustrial:], a community of similar-minded individuals who worked to expose the Boston-area goth-industrial scene to different flavors of dark electronic music and bring stellar foreign and domestic dark electronic artists to the Boston area, including Stromkern, Noisex, Hypnoskull, Department of Mental Health, Haujobb and Tunnel.
Punketta Doilie collaborated with Infrastructure (Stacia Tucker) on a remix of Mindless Self Indulgence's "Straight to Video". As of this update in January of 2008, the remix disk has spent 95 weeks on Billboard's Hot Dance Singles Sales chart and recently reached #1.
To feed her need to expose as much new music as possible, she started Shift, a weekly lounge night focused on playing a wide range of musical genres and styles., and which hosted a ton of the best Boston-area DJs including Phat Mike (My So-Called 90,,s Night), Volvox, Commodore Vic and Baldur among many, many others. Currently, Shift is living in a van down by the river.
She has been featured in the Boston Globe and profiled in the DJ Issue of Boston's Weekly Dig as well as the book "Bedroom Rockers: Where DJs Call Home" produced by Adidas Originals and XLR8R magazine.
She manages Provocateur a Boston-based electro-dance-pop band and was the resident DJ at
Shelter a monthly dark electro-industrial dance party.
BANDS - Terribly sorry, but I don't accept friend requests from bands on here, I get waaaaay too many. If you want me to listen to your stuff, just send a message. I'll add you if I like what I hear. :)
A little more personal:
I'm usually extroverted, loud, opinionated and highly caffinated. I interrupt people too much. I smile a lot, because I'm generally pretty happy. As a general rule I don't like talking unless it's about something interesting, horrifying or amusing. I am horrible with names, and not very good with faces either. I love hanging out with people who make me laugh. I like the nightlife, drinking in general and dancing in particular. Whiskey Taco Faceplant.
Bands that I love, like The Faint. Coming to Boston Aug 20th 2008! Check out their new track via their player below

Television
I realize it seems like I watch a lot of TV - I assure you I DO have a life. I record stuff to watch whenever, and can fast forward through commercials. Thank freaking GOD, I hate those things.
I do enjoy cartoons, including Family Guy, South Park. Beavis & Butthead (with music videos included, please). I also love Sifl & Olly and Robot Chicken. Yeah, they're sock puppets/clay but I didn't want to make separate categories for them.
CSI (only the Las Vegas one, though), the O.C., Gossip Girl, House M.D., Freaks and Geeks, Bones, NCIS, the first couple seasons of That 70's Show, Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe, nature shows, True Blood, Dexter, The Sopranos, Rome, Dead Like Me, the L-Word, Entourage and Weeds.
And I'll watch any show that's about serial killers or devil worship.
