I came into recovery back in 1993 but I dont have all that time all in a row. I have relapsed a few times. My recovery date is now August 1, 2007.
This page has been around since 2006 and I am the sole person administering it. That doesnt mean there arent others here that cant help, there are, many of them. Anyone here is available to help you. 'PUNK FRIENDS' was created as a extra to our recovery program. We give of ourselves, and we get so much in return.

This page is not affiliated with AA, NA, CA, SLA, GA, OA or any other A. We do not speak for any twelve step program. We are not their voice, they have their own. We do endorse twelve step participation though; it seems to be the best indicator of recovery. It is our hope that you find a twelve step program that fits, one that works for you. Twelve step recovery is but one resource, there are others and some actually work. Anything that can relieve you from addiction is a good thing, as long as others arent harmed.

ANONYMITY
This is a difficult one and could be a deal breaker for you. By identifying yourself as a friend of this page you are indicating to the MySpace world that you may be in recovery. Some like to protect their anonymity. We can respect this. Think about this before requesting or adding us as a friend.

SINGLENESS OF PURPOSE
There is no singleness of purpose here, we are all over the place. This page is NOT a twelve step program, neither is it a meeting.

It is a place for us to share our recovery, and help to carry the message to those seeking recovery.
