About me: First and formost we have to give a big shout out to Darren Barnes for letting PunkHouse go on. Without him letting us use Fizz'z Bike Shop for shows, the would be no PunkHouse. So attention all bands, get your T-shirts printed by Darren for a cheaper price than any other place, and you will be supporting us too! All you guys and gals who come to the shows, make sure and buy all your skateboards and bicycles from Fizz'z too! Tell him PunkHouse sent you!
Kevin Wright(dickroll) and Chris "the crew" Mattern have banded together as partners and founded "PunkHouse Productions" an organization for non-profit shows and record distro. We do shows on Saturdays and occasionally Sundays. We will be selling records of bands that have played in Madison, and other good punk rock albums(for the same price that we pay for them) We want to bring PUNK to the kids for a good price!
Our motto is "On a mission to irritate the redneck community"

Who I'd like to meet:
PunkHouse Productions is here and here for good. I am on a mission and nobody is going to stop me. Before you contact me to play let it be known that we are small time - small town and non profit. NO I am not interested in you faxing me a contract - and I can't afford to pay you any more than what the door brings in. If you are on the bill with a touring band - they take priority when it comes to money.
We also do distro - - we have gotten packages from a couple bands, and if we pay you 5 bucks for a CD - we sell the CD for five bucks - (if not give it away to people that may be interested in supporting your band.)
Any bands that can come to town will be taken care of to the best of my abilities - meaning you've got a place to stay -and whatever food I can scrounge up.. sometimes beer too - if thats your thing... if not - thats fine.
Emo - Screamo - Etc etc bands and cover bands need not contact us. We are PUNKhouse productions get it?!!
Last but not least - we will work with anybody - but let it be known we are thickheaded when it comes to the non profit thing- - our jobs pay our bills - so dont even try to get us to bend. We are doing this to promote original aggressive punk and hardcore music along with creating a scene of free thinking non racist - non sexist - non homophobic indiduals in Madison.
