Heroes .... well .. David Attenborough ... Micheal Palin --- John Lydon - Fred Dibnah - John Peel - Isombard Kingdom Brunell - captain Sensible- to name a few Homer Simpson is a hero for sure, that guy is brilliant , im sure all blokes can relate to Homer ..OH YES YOU CAN !!! MY DAD has to be included - he died in January 2003 and he went through hellish pain before a burst Aortic Anuerism took him from us .He knew his time left was short and i will never forget the last time i seen him alive as he waved goodbye from his hospital bed ...R.I.P dad you are missed. Also a neighbour of mine once flew as a rear gunner in a Lancaster bomber, he told me how he shot down a few German planes in the last war, he was also present when they liberated camps in Germany like Belsen which makes him stand out from the rest seeing how a rear gunners life expetancy in the war was 25 minutes ! sadly i found him dead in his hallway , he'd died from cancer . R .I .P wee Sandy. The REAL heroes go un- named , they lay in graves all over Europe , they gave us our freedom and shouldnt be forgotten EVER - the fighters in the great wars . ALLTHOUGH im no follower of WARS , it would be better if the world and all superpowers realised that WAR and the killing of innocent people is NOT the way to progress. WAR kills ONLY the innocent --how often have you heard of a leader dying for there country ?? send the leaders to the front line and see if they can hack it ...BASTARDS ! -- Now we are fighting a war again ...there is allways some fighting going on , guns and bombs being fired for what ? for whom ? not for me surely ?? i cant see why we are sending troops to other countrys , to be killed for what ?? in whos name ?? I am sickened at the on going fucking crap started by the so called LEADERS of the world . while people die the leaders sit in their sun soaked third home in some forgein country having a cold drink ... GET OF YOUR ARSE AND TRY FIGHTING FOR YOUR COUNTRY YOU FUCKERS !! WAR _ NOT IN MY NAME ! TVSMITH - for his BRILLIANT songs , he is one talented individual ,his music will be around long after we are all gone ...long live TVSmith. Laurel and Hardy have to be included, them two were superb, my memorys of a youngster sitting watching a black and white TV and my dad crying with laughter as Laurel and Hardy tried to smuggle a dog into their B & B was just class, i love watching their films. OH and SOO Catwoman is a punk rock icon , ive always liked her for her originality and having the guts to dress the way she did in the late seventies - respect to Soo catwomn , shes actually a very nice lady too xxxxxx OH anyone with the guts to still live the lifestyle that is PUNK ROCK ! you know who you are :-) LEE EVANS ! he is superb + The Pub landlord AL MURRAY ! what a laugh he is !
