About me:
PUNK MELODY TIME is a radio show,
broadcast on KOOP-fm in Austin TX
and can be heard every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30pm cst.
Your host "Dan Cofer" (probably not his real name) features the finest in melodic punk rock and power pop from around the world, with a specific emphasis on the '90s pop-punk explosion and the current revival of said "explosion." Apparently, there will be many things blowing up.
No Emo, no Mall Punk, no Banjos (well, very few Banjos).
On the old-fashioned airwaves, KOOP can be heard at 91.7 fm in the Austin area. For the computer literate, the station can be found steaming online at www.koop.org
Playlists will be posted on this page with, most likely, disturbing irregularity. The "podcast" version of the show is available for download right here
